Boyles Law Apparatus :-Simple, a glass J tube mounted on a wooden stand with scale 0-80 cm. Its closed limb is 400 x 1 mm bore & the open limb approx. 780 x 8 mm bore. A loose fitting glass plunger is pushed into the open limb & by displacement the height of mercury can be adjusted from about -50 mm to +450 mm relative to closed end. Requires about 6 ml of mercury. Supplied without mercury
